Above Finhaut Emosson – (Bel Oiseau Switzerland) a hidden area in the Mont Blanc massive for skitouring and amazing free riding. This area has no lift and is still quiet. Dropping in to one of the big lines here in good condition is one good feeling worth to remember.

The Italian side of Mont Blanc offers world class big mountain skiing. The free riding here is amazing. Every time going there i feel truly humble. I will never get tired of this place, even though i ski there a lot with its easy access.
Skiing a place like the Mallet glacier alone, no tracks in perfect snow, is one of the best skiing experience one can get. To access this glacier you need to climb on skins, campons and get through a col. This is one of the most beautiful classic ski tour in the massive. Cunningham couloir is great adventure skiing. Exit on to Glacier ronde you can choose to ski the exit couloir or left side of the glacier, or do a small climb up to the right to finish of with the couloir west.
Steeper exposed skiing adds another dimension to skiing. If one is prepared technically and has the skills this is an artform of skiing that give a lot of pleasure. Also you will end up in places where you normally don’t.
